Developing and implementing a great training program is a lot like rigging the perfect line: it takes the right tools, experience, and strategy. He’s spent his career fine-tuning these skills, working across multiple hospitality roles to gain first-hand knowledge of what it takes to be successful in each role. Influenced by his personal experience, Bobby has a distinct interest in helping others succeed.
As Director of Training at McKibbon, Bobby’s mission is to grow and develop leaders that will foster McKibbon's values and their hotel brand’s values and excel in day-to-day operations. Every program he implements is designed to help others understand the direct impact that their role has on the company as a whole. He believes enthusiasm is contagious, and no training program is complete without positive energy and perpetual motion.
When it comes to his own personal development, he believes fishing, a good night’s sleep, and travel are essentials. He also believes that being a good co-worker means uplifting each other at every turn, and giving it all you’ve got, each and every day.
