McKibbon Hotel Management has over fifty years of experience in developing and managing our own properties through many economic cycles. Specific expertise has been developed in customer service, employee training and development, food and beverage, housekeeping, cash management, facilities maintenance and new unit openings. This experience provides McKibbon with a solid foundation to provide outstanding management services to our third-party owners. Our goal is to operate each hotel within the scope of its franchised brand, driving revenues and managing expenses, while caring for the associates who serve our guests.

Corporate Management Team

Based in Tampa, Florida, our corporate management team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotels. Under the direction of CEO/President Vann Herring, Senior Vice Presidents of Operations Bruce Baerwalde and Randy Hassen oversee a team of three Regional Directors of Operations who provide hands-on management and plans implementation to each of the properties.

Sales & Marketing

McKibbon’s Sales and Marketing team is built from strong sales associates at the property or market level.  This front-line team is supported by an experienced corporate sales leadership group who provide oversight and coaching to develop and execute customized sales and marketing plans for mature businesses.  They also direct successful new unit openings and oversee transition during acquisitions.  Through the implementation of direct sales, advertising and public relations, McKibbon hotels consistently earn above average RevPAR market share.

e-Commerce

Working closely with each property's management and sales team, our e-Commerce experts assist the hotels with establishing and growing a robust presence in the digital realm. Support in this growing area includes search engine optimization, paid search marketing (PPC), property web page optimization and online reputation monitoring.

Revenue Management

Working side-by-side with Sales, Marketing & e-Commerce, McKibbon's in-house Revenue Management team communicates daily with our hotel properties to strategize and establish rates that are competitive for each property's market. Revenue Management regularly analyzes market trends, conducts situational analyses and identifies key indicators, reporting back to the properties' sales teams so that pricing and loading strategies can be designed to maximize the top line. For hotel owners, this service can be provided as a supplement to property management services, or as an "a la carte" service offering.

Renovation & Construction Management Services

McKibbon's rich history in developing, managing and renovating our own properties has led to the development of an exciting new offering for partners, MHG Construction Management Services, LLC. MHG CMS brings expertise in project management, construction and renovation to hotel owners who are seeking quality, service and timeliness in hotel renovation. Utilizing our skills and knowledge as a premier franchisee for three major hotel brands, MHG CMS delivers extraordinary quality and exceptional service in a quick turnaround environment, minimizing impact to hotel guess and the property's bottom line.

Finance & Accounting

McKibbon's centralized Finance and Accounting team provides a strong base for the management of the company's finances. Offering a full range of accounting services, including cash control, payroll, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (including SAS 70 audit reporting) and financial statement preparation. Working with hospitality specific web-based accounting software from McKibbon's sister company, M3 Accounting Services, real-time access to operating results, trends and measurements is achieved.

McKibbon has arranged millions in debt financing for new construction over the years with our consistent relationships with a diverse pool of investors and lenders. Financing types include construction loans and mini-perms, CMBS financing, leasing and FFE financing. In addition, McKibbon has expertise in the preparation of private placement offerings.

Purchasing

Working with one of the largest hospitality purchasing organizations in the country, McKibbon Hotel Management's Purchasing team seeks to increase the hotels' profitability through planned purchasing strategies. McKibbon's purchasing partner assists the in-house purchasing team by negotiating with vendors and developing on-line tools for ordering and reporting. Management partners can take advantage of this "a la carte" service, allowing their properties to concentrate on service and revenues.

Asset Management

As an "a la carte" service offering to our management partners, McKibbon's Asset Management team can oversee supervision of a property's "below the line" operational issues, such as managing insurance, property taxes, purchasing and selling.

Human Resources

Our associates are the lifeblood of our company.  McKibbon Hotel Management prides itself in attracting, training and retaining high quality team members.  McKibbon offers in-house staffing, training services and employee benefit management.  Innovative and effective offerings, such as our workplace chaplain program, help keep our retention rates above industry norms.  Our management team and field personnel are consistently recognized as the best in the business, through annual service awards and invitations to serve on industry boards and committees.  And our expert opening/transition team ensures new McKibbon properties receive outstanding support and training before, during and after a new hotel is brought online.

McKibbon's high sanitation standards and ongoing audit process maintain kitchens to the very highest industry standards. Efficient designs, service levels, operating controls, purchasing efficiencies and comprehensive training systems provide each hotel with a competitive advantage in securing strong guest satisfaction and contributing significantly to the bottom line.

Facilities Management

Sustaining the value of physical assets is a critical key to financial success. McKibbon has extensive experience in developing and executing preventative maintenance plans, evaluating critical cost categories such as utilities, and cost benefit analysis of capital expenditures.
