Our properties and team members have been recognized as industry leaders by each of the brands that we represent more often than any other management company in the country. Since 1994, we have been honored with an Opening Hotel of the Year or General Manager of the Year each year. We have been recognized for our outstanding performance, and more importantly, for the contributions to the communities that we are a part of. These honors help us to set higher goals for ourselves and continue to strive to be the industry leader in the market.

Starwood New Build of the Year Award
Select Service Property

Starwood’s highest honor for all select-service brands built for the year. Presented to one hotel in each category in recognition of efficient construction, timely opening and outstanding performance.

Marriott Partnership Circle Award

Marriott's highest honor, McKibbon was the first company ever to be recognized with this prestigious award. The honor is given only to those companies that exemplify Marriott's focus on outstanding hospitality and share their values of doing business.

Marriott Community Service Award

McKibbon Hotel Management, Inc. was the first franchise company to win this award for an entire company's contributions to education, health and human services, plus cultural improvements. In addition, the Residence Inn by Marriott Hotels in Chattanooga and Tampa/Westshore also received this award for their accomplishments in their respective communities.

J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence

Presented to Theresa Wilson, General Manager of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Mobile, Alabama. This award is given each year to only 12of Marriott's 200,000 associates worldwide. Selection is a tribute to dedication to excellence in service and hospitality.

Alice S. Marriott Award for Community Service

Honorable Mention to Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Westshore for their continuous involvement in community service.

Marriott Full House Award

Award presented to franchises that have successfully developed and opened all five of Marriott's select service and extended stay brands.

Opening General Manager and Opening Hotel of the Year – 22 Awards

McKibbon knows how to open hotels! Attention to detail has enabled McKibbon to win this award virtually every year since 1996 with all the brands that we represent-- Marriott, Hilton and Starwood. TownePlace Suites by Marriott Knoxville was the first to win both Opening GM and Opening Hotel of the Year Award simultaneously.

General Manager of the Year – 7 Awards

McKibbon General Managers have been selected for this award by both Marriott and Hilton brands for outstanding performance in guest service, meeting and exceeding brand standards and hotel profitability.
