In 1963 McKibbon became one of the first franchisees of Holiday Inns, and in 1993 was awarded one of the first Courtyard by Marriott franchises in the Southeast. Historically, ownership in McKibbon’s hotels has been by the McKibbon family exclusively. Over the years that has expanded to include board members, company officers, and key relationships of the company.
